How Corporate Recognition Ltd started...having spent 13 years working for The Co-op, NHS and a Flexible Packaging firm, gaining valuable experience in most of the office departments and qualifications in Office Administration and Business Studies. David first started working in the promotional gift industry in 1987 joining the UK's largest Promotional Gift Company, initially as the representative as part of a three person team, Administratrator and Telephone Sales/Typist covering the North West of England, then moving into a Key account manager role working with some of the UK's best known companies.

In 1994 he joined an established Manchester based supplier of promotional gifts and manufacturer of PVC and PU promotional products, working to the same 3 person team principle, steadily growing both sides of the company until it's sale in 2004.

On leaving school Susan joined a local estate agent as an office junior gaining valuable experience of administration systems, sales and lettings, whilst gaining typing and office administration qualifications. Over the years Susan worked for both local and national estate agentsadministrator, PA to Director and sales negotiator, as well as finding time to raise a family.

Having known each other as teenagers Susan and David met again in 2004, they soon realised that their business knowledge and skills complemented each other and if brought together could form the platform for a successful customer service led promotional gift company.

January 2006 saw the start of Corporate Recognition Ltd which has since shown steady structured growth based on their commitment to providing products to suit clients needs at the best possible price, but most importantly First Class Customer Service.
